I’ve met a lot of people out on the road who are interested in what I’m doing. It would be nice to see who I met on the streets that followed through and check out on my blog. If you could just sign the guestbook and let me know you checked it out, I’d appreciate it.

Marcus, I would love to! I think about that place often and the delicious beers I had there. Old Rasputin is still one of my favorites! I hope things are well with you and hope you continue to keep in touch.
Manley! Cool site, lots of deep thoughts… I like it. Amazing photos too. Come have a beer on the left coast sometime.
Great website Chuck, finally got around to checking it out. Some excellent photography and above all, I appreciate where your consciousness is at! I’m in San Pedro for a few more days, then off to Rio Dulce to volunteer in a friends medical clinic for a week or two. Maybe our paths will cross again.
Caio for now.
Super doubtful you would actually remember me. I browsed your photos at Dally in good, old Detroit. I told you I was planning on backpacking but couldn’t get my shit together. You offered to take me with you to South America and my balls disappeared because you said you’d be leaving in two weeks.
But fuck it. I’m off to California in May and then a road trip all up in New England’s grill. I hope I eventually run into you, not that I remember your face…. Regardless, I hope I do.
Godspeed my friend! Look forward to your return. Wish I could join you, but my journey is with Sky. We send our love and luck!
Ey Chuck, hope everything’s going ok through Mexico,, I’m checking out your blog and it’s really interesting to read all about how you’re following your dream, I just whish we had the time to talk more about it in person, but hopefully we can meet again on the road.
Good luck !!
Hi Chuck,
We met at the Detroit Fireworks party.
I really enjoyed our talk and felt very motivated by it.
I sincerely appreciate our open conversation about your quarter century crisis and how you handled it.
I’m actually checking out the couchsurfing.org website.
As karma would have it, I’ve been following the U.S. Social Forum website and they mentioned couchsurfing with a link.
Small world with big coincidences wouldn’t you say?
Please keep in touch and take care,
Kathleen Ruhl
Hey, it was great having someone to chat with on the drive down to San Fran…Thanks for all the hitching/couchsurfer intel. Good luck in your continued travels.
I enjoyed our conversation at Golden Gate Park in SF this evening. May you continue to live your dream…
I met Chuck the first weekend in October in Pittsburgh. We have some mutual friends and I had a great time hearing some of Chuck’s stories. Good luck with the rest of your journey Chuck I don’t know if you’ll figure out what you want to do with your life from this experience but I have a feeling you’ll figure out what you don’t want to do.
Hey, I havnt actually met you but Im good friends with the girl Azami who you speak of in your journal entry. I really enjoyed the story and what you have to say, keep it up! I hope to be out on the road someday soon as well
